Physical Education Department
At Fuguitt Elementary, our Physical Education department is dedicated to helping students develop lifelong healthy habits through fun, engaging, and inclusive activities.
Fitness Challenges
- Mileage Club- 2nd thru 5th grade students scan individual QR codes to keep track of their laps and miles run throughout the year. Students can win awards for reaching milestones, including a marathon shirt for running 26.2 miles.
- Run Club- An after-school enrichment club for students who love sports and running.
We’re proud to partner with community organizations and special guests — including members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and local businesses — who inspire our students to stay active and make positive choices both in and out of school. Through these experiences, our PE program promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and a passion for wellness that lasts a lifetime.
